Japanese Garden in Minneapolis, Minnesota

She’s such a beauty, the Japanese Garden on the campus of Normandale Community College.

Once the snow clears and the chill is out of the air, below are reasons you should visit the Japanese Garden just outside of Minneapolis.

The Japanese Garden is located on the Normandale Community College Campus just outside of Minneapolis. It is a 2 acre suburban oasis that was built by the Bloomington Affiliated Garden Club. The garden is accessible from dawn to dusk unless noted otherwise. It can be reserved for formal photo sessions as well as weddings.

When we visited, there was one other small group on the campus which made photo taking quite easy. If you’re a garden or photo enthusiast, consider a day of leisure at the Japanese Garden.
