Most Picturesque Places in the World
May I let you in on a little secret?
May I please?
Sure you say.
Aww, thank you.
My secret is, I only travel to some places to capture great shots. There are a few places that I’ve gone or planning to go that are for photography purposes only. The places on today’s list are considered the most picturesque places in the world. You see, some of these picturesque places are just too cold, too hot, or have a culture that just isn’t interesting to me but the “photo story” that they offer is second to none.
Below are my top five most picturesque places in the world.
1. Cairo, Egypt
The Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx in the same photo; amazing. Now, do excuse the winkles in the forehead because the sun was in my face like mad and my head wrap decided to do it’s on thing but hey, what’s in the background, THE Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx.
2. Moscow, Russia – St. Basil’s Cathedral
I’ve yet to go to Moscow but it’s in the works for 2015 or so. Seeing and taking stunning shots of St. Basil’s Cathedral is the only reason I want to visit Moscow. I want to go during the winter months so I can wear a long fur coat with matching hat, sexy boats, fitted jeans, and a coordinating sweater. You see, I’ve visualized this for quite a while, and it must go exactly as I planned.
3. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The Burj Al Arab is my favorite structure in Dubai. It has a presence like no other. I’ve photographed this building numerous times and capture a new element of beauty each time the camera goes “click”.
4. Beijing, China – The Great Wall of China
Historic and authentic; situated in China’s lush greenery provides the perfect back drop to many stellar photos. I’ll see you soon.
5. Sydney, Australia
Some say cheesy and obligatory, but I say picturesque. The Sydney Opera house is one of the most iconic and respected structures in the world. How could it not make Reginia’s list for one of the most picturesque places in the world?
What do you say?
