S is for Singapore

Singapore is an island city-state off the country of Malaysia. In addition to Hong Kong, it is the social and financial hub of Southeast Asia. Its constant warm, yet humid, climate makes it an attractive destination for those traveling from China, New Zealand, and Australia during the winters. With an abundance of outdoor activities such as the MacRitchie Reservoir, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Botanic Gardens, and East Coast, nature and outdoor enthusiasts often select Singapore for their holiday.

In addition to the great outdoor activities, Singapore offers a huge fashion culture, art, and local history. Planning your Singaporean holiday should be one of the highlights of your vacation.

Here are a list of things to do and see while visiting the modern, tropical destination in Southeast Asia.

Visit the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotels. The pool option, typically, for guests only, but perhaps something can be worked out with the correct amount of cash and charm.Things to see in Singapore

Take a tour with Big Bus.

Take the Heritage Tour

River Cruise

Trek down Orchard Road

Enjoy the scenic colors and authenticity of Little India.

Play in downtown Singapore on both sides of the Marina Bay Area.

Helix Bridge Singapore

Spend all your dollars in the casino

Universal Studios

Delight yourself with a foodie tour.

While Singapore is an awesome city with a stunning dynamic, visiting the city will come with a bit of expense. Besides the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel, two of my others picks are Fairmont Singapore and Raffles Hotel.
